This project was created for the OFFF FEST BARCELONA competition: The idea behind it is a poem called "Tipuanas de Barcelona" by the Catalan poet Carme Cabús. Tipuanas are iconic yellow flowers that are a common sight in Barcelona's urban landscape in early summer. They paint the ground yellow and are colloquially known as "Barcelona's confetti." The poem is highly visual and uses metaphors like "golden butterflies" and "the scent of honey nectar" to describe the flowers, elements that are incorporated into the video through a personal interpretation using motion graphics animation.
